Violent Volcanoes

Next half term our topic will be Violent Volcanoes. Here are some of the things you will be learning:

What is a volcano?
Where are volcanoes found?
Why do Volcanoes erupt?

Why do people live near volcanoes?

Can we predict when a volcano will erupt?
What happens during a volcanic eruption?

During this half term we will be making our own volcano models and learning how they erupt.

HOMEWORK REMINDER- Please remember that your volcano projects are due in on TUESDAY 8TH JANUARY 2013.
